Did Jim Gates learn drums from you in the 60`s? I remember the Gretch set that he bought from you. Champain sparkle.
I was about the same age as he was and when I lived near Gresham I always wanted to take lessons from you… couldn`t get my mom and dad to approve.. I was so impressed with Jim. I actually learned later from watching him play.
